Want to spend a day by the beach in Boca Raton? Here’s an easy checklist of spots to hit when you’re in town!

The Beach at Spanish River Park

Spanish River Park is open from 8:00AM to sundown every day of the week. Here you can find access to the beach and the Atlantic, with life guards on duty from 9AM-5PM EST and 9AM-6:30PM EDT. If you're hungry, grills and tables are available on a first-come, first serve basis. There’s a pavilion to catch some shade if needed!

The Boca Aquarium

Located just a short drive from the beach, the Boca Aquarium is an easy escape from the heat after a hot day outside and offers an intimate view of the life that lives in our oceans. Open all year round, Mondays-Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, admission and parking are free, with electric vehicle chargers available, making it a perfect spot for a quick charge! Tours of these tropical tanks are available for those who want to learn more, and the average visit lasts 20-25 minutes.

Gumbo Limbo

If the Boca Aquarium has you entranced by marine life, then Gumbo Limbo is the place to stop by next! Located right past the intercoastal, you can find a beautiful butterfly garden, mangrove forest, and their three resident sea turtles. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the research local communities are putting into protecting the reef, and a cool last stop by the ocean before you call it a day!

East Boca Raton is sea-riously one of a kind and full of life–Enjoy the ocean views in and out of the beach!
