New to Boca Raton and looking for free things to do? Or maybe a local wanting to discover cool parts of the city? Check out the Boca Aquarium located inside Diamonds by Raymond Lee!

Located in east Boca Raton and a short drive from the beach, the Boca Aquarium is an easy escape from the heat and intimate view into the life that lives in our oceans. Thousands-of-gallon tanks host a diverse array of tropical fish from Florida’s shores to those of the Polynesian islands.

Open all year round, Mondays-Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, admission and parking are free, with electric vehicle chargers available. Unlike bustling large-scale aquariums, this hidden gem offers a relaxed environment, making this spot perfect for families with very young children with a growing interest in marine life. Tours of these tanks are available for those who want to dive a little deeper into the science, and the average visit lasts 20-25 minutes.

The Boca Aquarium’s shark tank is expanding and will be open soon! Once open, be sure to check it out and see the live shark feedings on Thursdays at 4pm. In the meantime, visit the seahorse sanctuary, 700 gallon coral reefs, and moon jellyfish tank.

If you are a group of 12 or more, be sure to call ahead of time at (561) 208-6168. The facility is wheelchair accessible and all tanks are located on the ground floor.

Sea you there!
